The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Project for children trains volunteers to give voice to abused and neglected children in Massachusetts. Robb and Lynn will talk about what they see in our child welfare system and the impact abuse and neglect at the hands of caretakers has on the future of children.
Dr. Robb Zargesis the Executive Director of CASA. He holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership and MA in Counseling. He has worked in various capacities and agencies including Straight Ahead Ministries and the YMCA to coach and support young people in finding the resources they need to live a life of promise and potential. He also teaches at Clark University in their Graduate Program.
Lynn Tesconi is the Assistant Director of CASA. She has a Master’s in Counseling, a BS in Special Education and is a Trustee of Fitchburg State. She trains and supervises specialized volunteers to represent the physical, health and mental health needs of children in the foster care system.
